Top notch professionalism, care, and attention given from the entire staff!!
I have insurance that works at Baptist. However, I choose to go to Cardona Direct Primary care because they treat me like a person and I can contact and communicate with the office easily. I have interacted with both Dr Garland and Dr Cardona and they are the best. Their office is a happy calming place. They are both Navy veterans, local to Jacksonville (and Stanton grads!) and the most knowledgeable doctors I have found. No mid levels in this office —- you always see an MD which I truly appreciate. Best caring Drs around. They take the time to listen and understand all of their patients needs and concerns. I have been with Dr Cardona for over 15 years now and couldn’t imagine not having her. Having the Drs available to you is priceless. Dr Garland has been a great addition to the office as well. They are quick to return messages which means so much when your in need of Drs advice. I highly recommend these Drs for your medical concerns.
I found Cardona DPC before I had health insurance. Now, I have Florida Blue and zero co-pay to see a doctor at Baptist Health. But, I stay a member of Cardona DPC because I don't feel rushed. I'd say I don't feel nickel and dimed anymore like I have with Baptist Health, but what meme would you use when it's hundreds of dollars? Dr. Cardona is the best doctor I've had in my 59 years and her staff is excellent. I also love that I can get to see the doctor same day or next day if it is urgent.
