My first time trying out Jim's Grill. Had drove past it many times thinking to myself "Hey, I should try that place." I hadn't heard much about it so didn't really have any expectations. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Got seated and waited on right away. Very eclectic menu - I suppose it matches with the decor :) I was surprised at how long it took to get our food, which was sandwiches, fish and chips, and burgers. Have not been here in quite a while. Heard that they really changed. Well I’m hear to tell you they TRULY changed. Our lunch was superb� Fried onion rings were perfect and the bacon Mac and cheese was so so good. � thanks so much
The flavor of the Prime Rib was ok but not tender enough and the side dish portions were too small for the price of the food. If you're going to charge that much for a meal you better give them plenty of food, especially the sides that are not that expensive to make.
Must go to place a gem hiding in Smithfield! Get the Haskell back patatoe!
I have eaten at Jim's Grill the is all ways the very best
So to start off positive the restaurant is super cute and food had potential to be good, but the service is awful. We waited 53 min. Before they served our food and it tasted like half the time it sat under a heat lamp, burgers were so dry yet the bottom bun was mush. Also my kids Mac and cheese wasn’t cooked, (fries were good though!) all in all this was our 5th time eating there and our last. The chicken and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The flavor was amazing. Will be on my favorites list.
