Go Double! – The Double Meat burger was great...you could taste the grill and the little things that make a hamburger great. The fries were terrible! There were other sandwiches on the menu that looked interesting (italian sausage with mozarella, etc). I kept hearing the staff say goodbye to people by names so there appeared to be a lot of regulars there.
The one on Sheridan is definitely better – Both locations have delicious food obviously, and the same awesome prices, but I would definitely say the drive-thru at the Thornton location makes them slower, if anything. It's easier to just get out of your car and go inside, or just drive a few more miles to the Westminster location. The people there are much friendlier to me, and my time. When you go, definitely try the new green chili. YUMMY!!!
Burgers – The burgers arehe best! They come in all sizes with what you want for toppings. The price is right. The ambience is great. We also enjoy the huge hot dogs available. They have an assorted menu which, at times, one doesn't really know what to order!
Also a Thornton legend – 2 Locations also at 88th & Washington. Same great Burgers!!
denver!s best burger – simply the best tasting burger in Denver! Large 1/2 pound double 6" cheeseburgers and 32oz. malts in a 50's atmosphere makes it a denver tradition for more than 40 years!
Awesome – Jim's Burger Haven has had some of the best burgers for years!!!
Classic burger – I must admit that I have never been to the one on Sheridan, but I have been going to the one on 86th and Pearl for almost 30 years. This is the hamburger you remember from the drive ins. It's a huge patty, pressed flat, with onions, pickles, tomato, lettuce and mustard. Add cheese or double meat for a true gastronomic orgasm. I don't live in Denver anymore, but when I come back, I always make a trip to Jim's.
If you try it you'll like it. – Good Service - Great tasting Burgers and Fries. The atmosphere is 50's style -I liked it.
