I owe Jimoto ramen an apology I’m sorry we came into your restaurant last night and took up space that you had hoped higher paying guests could fill. We were just happy to spend a night out. I’m sorry we had questions about your menu, because even though my wife and I love Japanese food, you had your own spin on certain dishes that we wanted to know about before we ordered. I have visited and lived in Japan for various periods of my life, and the ramen at Jimoto brought me right back to my stint in Osaka. The traditional flavors mixed with the unique local vibes were a perfect combination in a town that lacks variety in cuisine department. Great service, and great atmosphere.
Service was horrible. He was texting the entire time he took our order. The ramen had big portions. however putting a $28 price tag on mid ramen seems like an insult to Japanese culture. Aesthetics and cocktails seems to mask the lack of authentic Asian cuisine.
