Best combo platter I’ve have had in LONG time! Great service! Great food ! Chef even visited table to make sure homemade dressing for my wife’s salad was OK, nope it was Great! Headed back for crab cake sandwich tonight!
Excellent spot, food, drinks, and atmosphere. They giggled at us because we said we were in our honeymoon. And responded with, you came here!?! Yes, and came back the very next day! Watermelon Stingray is an amazing drink for the beach plus we ate nothing but appetizers both nights. Yum! Plus the waiters and atmosphere are excellent! We probably sat over two hours each night. Just enjoying the waves, fishers, people, food, and our own conversations. Relaxation at its finest!
Came from Massachusetts to do a cruise- stopped in here to grab a bite- beautiful spot- very busy but that’s a good sign -great food and great people!
We live in San Antonio and we had our friends from Norway to spend the week with us in Galveston. This was our first treat for them on the island; they loved it! We’ve been coming to Galveston for years and Jimmy’s is a must every time. Excellent food; we had the crawfish queso and the fried pickles for appetizers. I love the crabcake and my wife loves the duck and oyster gumbo. They had the shrimp po’ boy and the clam chowder. Can’t wait to go back!!
It took over 10 minutes standing at the hostess stand to get greeted by someone. Staff rushed by without a smile, hello, or "we'll be right with you". It was busy. (Friday night Dinner) We decided to sit at the bar. Cool Bartender, but he was extremely busy. They seemed very unorganized. Food was okay. We got charged twice for our drinks so hopefully the refund went through. (We'll check in 2-3 business days). We more than likely will not return.
