Earthy, cozy and warm with true East Village vibe - laid back, good food reasonable prices and fantastic bartender!
One of my favorite bars in the city. Always have an interesting selection of beer, wine and especially ciders. Jimmy has been supportive of local brewers from the beginning, he is a great chef and a seriously nice guy. Plus any bar that is subterranean is instantly cool!
Delicious pork belly taco�highly recommend. Don't forget to check out the backroom. That's where movie Cafe Society was filmed.

It's a cool place. Like a comfy cave, very European feeling. Good beers on tap. I went three times during my NY stay. Jimmy is a very friendly dude. Wish they had a Sausalito annex!
