The kitchen must have been having a stellar service. We had a large party and our food arrived all at once, everything was well-seasoned, and everyone that helped us was great. I would love to have had a non-alcoholic drinks menu either at the table or online.
I love broasted chicken but today at Jimmy's it was horribly over cooked. I sent it back and asked that it not be overcooked. 30 minutes later the waitress returned with a new batch, also overcooked. My dad began cooking broasted chicken when it was first invented around 1957 in the little town of Bancroft, Iowa. Overcooking is easy to do since the chicken goes into a pressurized cooker.
