I paid $30 for a steak that had absolutely NO flavor!! How can u not season your steak? Then we got offered free dessert since our food had no taste but I'd rather have had money off our bill. Even our dessert had no flavor. It's like the used no sugar and fat free whipped cream. Who the hell does that. No wonder this place had no wait at 730pm on a Saturday and it was Sweetest day. Love it! – Great place, the food is very quality
Small portions and overpriced. Had Whitefish dinner for $16.00. Portion was skimpy . Salad was also skimpy and contained small amount of lettuce and a large slice of tomatoe. My wife had a skirt steak for $ 18.00 which was also rather small. Bread tray was also nothing to rave about. At L-Woods in Lincolnwood,their Crusted White Fish dinner is twice the size for $17.00.
Good Food at Reasonable Price – My wife almost always orders filet mignon. Steaks are great and service is excellent. I wish they would change up their side dishes a bit. They've been the same for years.
ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – The steaks tasted sour. The broccoli was gray. One of my carrot slices had something black in the middle of it (if I were a server, I wouldn't have served that). The baked potato was dry. The hostess and waitress were both extremely rude. I had gastro-intestinal problems as soon as I got home - no exaggeration. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
Consistently good food American style Always a pleasant dining experience at reasonable prices. I especially like the skirt steak special and blackened fish entrees. Very plentiful portions and the service is always very nice.
It Doesn't Get Better Than This My wife and i come all the time and have tried almost everything on the menu, and there wasn't one entree that i was not happy with. Portions are quite generous you will either leave full or taking food home. Service is outstanding waiters are trained very well and do a great job of checking up on you every now and then, even before my drink is empty a full glass is already placed without me having to ask.
Great Steaks and Good Service This place has an esquisite taste for making you feel comfortable about eating so much meat. The portions are well, and the food is pretty good. I like eating here on occasion, but prices are fair.
I'll Be Back – Love this place; the steaks are wonderful no mater how you order them, the salads are fresh and delicious and the burgers are big n tasty. The stuffed mushrooms appetizer is a mini-meal in itself, stuffed with a slightly spicy sausage, very tasty. Friendly service with a traditional decor makes a comfortable dining experience. They stay open later than most restaurants in the area and are convenient for carryout.
