I will use them again in the future!! Being a female I was a little weary of going into purchasing a remote start for my car for fear of being taken advantage of on the pricing. I called several places around Montgomery, Prattville and even Auburn and found that Jimmy's on Atlanta Hwy gave me the best price head and shoulders above the rest! Firedog I searched the tri-county for someone to install a touch screen alpine system in my 2003 Corvette. I was told it couldn't be done and I would have to install a radio with a flip screen. The other installers basically told me what I could have installed. They cut me off and told me what was available for my car and what I wanted installed was impossible. 5-Plus star!! I have done a lot of business with Jimmy's Car Stereo over the years after doing business with just about every stereo shop in Montgomery and the surrounding area and must say that Jimmy's is the very BEST by a mile. I always deal with Chris Sexton and he is very polite, takes his time and always does what he tells you that he will do. I have been into stereo's for 30-plus years and know a good bit about sales and service and nobody comes close to Chris and Jimmy's.
Great service! I used Jimmy's Car Stereo to install my XM Radio on my old car. They did a great job with installation, and when I sold that car, they removed it and put it into another vehicle. My wait time was minimal.
A mixed review. The sales staff behind the counter, led by Craig, is worthless. They make it obvious that your visit is ruining their socialization and Internet surfing time. I went into the store after being recommended by a friend and I had planned on buying a rather extensive multimedia system. Craig couldn't even take the time to make eye contact while he was talking to me. wack! My wife and i decided to get an overhead dvd player installed into our 2004 suburban. we went to jimmy's on atlanta hwy and got a quote, several days later we called the shop to get the quoted price again just to verify we recieved the correct price. a salesman named walter barno answered the call and when my wife asked if the price was correct his only response was " yeah you must be really hott if that was the price we gave you" need i say more. never never again
ugh I have used Jimmy's for two different cd and dvd player installations and the exchange of my subs from one car to another and every time it takes forever!! The price is pretty good but very slow! My dvd player is my car is completely messed up and they just told me that there is nothing that they can do about it. Thanks Jimmy's. needless to say i'm not using them any more.
6 hours ago "Why do it right when you can pay us to do it twice" is the summary I've concluded. Here's my almost $3600 review. Too bad I can't include photos. Let's start with misinformation. I was lied to about the Sony GS4 specs, I was lied to about paying for a custom box, and recieved a prefab when I asked to leave my truck for measurements.
