like diner food!!! We ate there last night. We both ordered the ribeye assuming it would be hard to mess up. The steaks tasted like something you would get at a diner. The rice pilaf was boxed wild rice I am pretty sure. The carrots were plain and tasteless. It was almost like the chef was trying to make it taste like garbage. High Class Expected Jimmy Ryans serves all types of people, but I think their intention is to cater to the higher class of people. Reservations are preferred, but they do take walk-in diners if they have the room. Some of the servers are extremely snooty, but if you get a server that doesn't think you are too low-class to be dining there, you will have a good experience. The food is a little pricey, but the menu is full of items you can't buy just anywhere. The food is usually very good.
