I ordered a simple sandwich. Turkey cheese and lettuce. To my surprise, there was no turkey on my sub. How is this a $12 sandwich? This is absolutely unacceptable!!
Waited almost 30 minutes for our sandwiches, after they told us it would only be a 5 minute wait. There was only two people working behind the counter and neither of them seemed like they knew what they were doing. Also our sandwiches were extra crispy on the bottom for some reason reason.
Food is great as always but they are the slowest Jimmie John’s I’ve ever been to. They repeatedly kept taking new customers telling them it’s a “5-10 minute wait” when it took 25 minutes to get 2 subs. They were working a catering order when we showed up but they should tell customers that and give them a more realistic estimation of time . It can’t be 5-10 minutes for everyone. Just grabbed a chicken Cesar wrap from there and this is my second time and they pretty much gave me lettuce with a hint of chicken. The gal said it’s portioned out but this wrap definitely is not the same as when I got it like a month ago.
First time there. Staff were friendly and food was prepared quickly. Sandwiches were delicious. Would definitely check out the Jimmy John's in Ventura.
