Came in around 7 and three employees and their manager (let's just call him Kumar Patel) were all standing behind the cash register staring at me. No one said a single word as I walked up to them and just waited as awkwardly silent as possible for me to begin ordering. Would happily come back again.
I ordered my first sandwich here and was shocked at the charges. They wanted $5 just to swap one meat for another—seriously? Then, without even telling me, they added a $2.50 charge just for cheese. That’s ridiculous. On top of that, there’s no real option to customize your sandwich. You can’t even add basic things like oil, vinegar, salt, or pepper without an upcharge. If I am going to the drive thru I should not be expected to pay upfront a “tip” when I am handed the card machine. The Indian man at the drive thru hands me the card machine with tip options, if I select other it gives you blank area to out a costume tip so I pressed the x button to get out and the machine declines the transaction. I hand it back to him and he tells me to not insert it to just use the tap but AGAIN there is the tip option. Beware. I wanted to give the benefit of doubt but it happened again. Went through drive through and got my receipt. Total was $27.06 but my bank charge was $29.76. This has happened on several occasions and I am not ok with it. The employees decide to give themselves a tip without even asking or giving me the choice. Time to find a new JJ to go to...
