I used to go to the original one on 14th Ave. back in the mid 60's when I was in high school. I had one in Kenilworth two weeks ago and they were just as good as I remember.
My father ate at the original in Newark, I ate at the one in Irvington and my son ate at the one in Scotch Plains. My granddaughter will go to the one in Kenilworth and be the 4th generation to know the pure joy of the WORLD'S GREATEST and ORIGINAL Italian hot dog! Often imitated but NEVER duplicated...Jimmy Buff's!!!
Been eating Buffs since I was a teenager when they were in Irvington. When the place closed I went to the one in West Orange. Since they opened in Kenilworth, and much closer to Union, I get them more often. As long as they don't change, I won't change!!!
