I have been a patient of Dr. Jim Savage in San Francisco for over 20 years, and I can say with certainty that he is one of the best doctors in the Bay Area. We came to this clinic for a few travel vaccines and ended up spending several hours there.. far longer than expected. The visit started off poorly when the doctor asked us what we wanted instead of providing clear guidance. There were multiple long waits: for the doctor to arrive, for the brief “consultation,” for him to share his “recommendations” (which, surprisingly, appeared to come from ChatGPT), and for the staff to prepare the vaccines. Amazing amazing amazing! Taught me so much about everything! Lovely man very kind and compassionate.
Had a need for a Doctor while in SF. Spoke to secretary and arranged an appointment time. Arrived early - Waited. No sign of the Doctor. 15 minutes later, no sign. Secretary bustles around evasively. Finally get told there’s been an emergency and Doctor may be in approx 90 minutes. Total waste of time and disrupted the day. Don’t mislead people and let them down when they need medical help
