take the family This is an ideal place to take the family on a summers evening. From the miniature gold to the home made ice cream your kids will be entertained. Many different animals and food available to hand feed them. Arcade games and basketball games, lots to do.
My kids LOVE this place This place has food, ice cream, miniature golfing, inflatable jumping thing, feed the animals, basketball, playground like area and arcade. My kids love coming here and frequently we go there throughout the summer months.((I am not a fan of the animals being there. They do not always look well taken care of and just seems wrong)).
sales VP Rednecks keep a poor bear in a cage. All for profit. Whomever would go back after seeing that is morally deficient in every way.
The Bear If anyone else is reading this, I am greatly concerned with the bear & other animals. I am not saying to set them free, unfortunatly they have already been made into pets. I am just saying they deserve better treatment. A sanctuary or maybe even The Hershey Zoo. Please, if there is ANY way people can help these animals, especially the bear, please write me back!!!! dana.bury@yahoo.com
not again black bear laying around in his own feces. rabbits in poorly ventilated hutch with eyes dialated and rapid breathing. when you politely express your concerns that the rabbits could possibly be overheated on an 88 degree day, the workers come out from behind the counter to antagonize you and berate you. we won't be back.
LANDMARK Great place. " not again " find something else to whine about. like say Global Warming ( not real ) or say tidal erosion. Macks is a landmark in York County. .

get rid of animals They have a small animal area and yesterday when I went to enjoy ice cream, I was in tears. They have a bear that just lays there, he is in a small enclosure with no play area, no companions, the water trough was green. He is so matted and just looks awful. They also have llamas, goats and 1 duck all in the same disgusting area with a mud puddle that is green from standing water. The animals all flocked to the fence in a panic, when I got little food pieces out of the dispenser. They all have bloated belli... read more
So Much To Do Here This is no ordinary ice cream place. It offers everything from minature golf to a playground for the kids. Also you can feed a wide arrange of animals including bears. The ice cream is really good. Jim Macks offers a family friendly atmosphere that is very relaxed. It also has a small acrade and quarter rides that my son absolutely loves. We probably visit this ice cream shop at least twice a month during the spring and summer.
