Fake $350 diagnostic and a $3,200 wrong repair recommendation. I brought my vehicle to Jim Ellis Hyundai for an "advanced" brake failure diagnostic, and they held it for four days only to run a two-minute code scan. They charged me an outrageous $350 (packed with junk supply, compliance, and surcharge fees) just to tell me I needed a $3,200 HECU replacement—admitting they would "start there" and keep guessing if it didn't work. Absolutely horrible. Daughters 2011 Sonata was towed there for service on a known recall, code P1326, well known as an issue for these vehicles. P1326 is a rod knocking issue with the engine, you cannot drive. Was told A) we don’t service cars this old B) we are not taking on new clients C) There are no Jim Ellis service centers that will assist D). We have no other suggestions or solutions for you. Jim Ellis dealership will never get business from me and I will share this everywhere.

Anaya was truly amazing!!! Extremely knowledgeable on their products and she’s extremely personable as well! She definitely made the process of buying a new car as smooth as possible. I definitely appreciate them going the extra mile!
