Friendly and reasonable Jim Brown has always done the work for my parents and me when I got on my own. He installed an entire central heat and air system with ductwork and everything in an older home I was renovating. He knew just what to get and how powerful but at a price I could live with.
BUYER BEWARE Jim installed 2 new Trane heating and ac units in my home. Installation went fine and he happily came to collect his $8000. Had a question about 2 weeks later. left at least 10 messages -no response. Even sent a registered letter to 2 locations. No response. 2 months later one unit wasn't working properly. His telephone mailbox has been full for weeks. It's obvious he doesn't have any intention of standing by his work. I DO NOT recommend him!
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I would not recommend Jim Brown to anyone; in july I got a new outside unit from Jim, in sept. the compressor went out in this new unit. he put another compressor in I wish you can hear the loud noise it is making, and it is not cooling the house,and he told my husband he have did all he can do, BUT I want him to know we have not did all we can do, if the unit do not get fix we will see him in court
