I went to see Dr. Waibel to see if laser would help tighten the skin under my eyes to help improve my festoons. She said it would so I made an appointment. I had the CO2 laser resurfacing done. I developed horrible hyperpigmentation from the laser. I went for my follow up and expressed how sad I was of the result and instead of her and her assistant being sympathetic, they immediately said that I had signed the papers and knew this could happen. She is a brain!!! She found the solution to treat my daughter’s hives in just one visit. I also take cosmetic visits for me And she is awesome!!! Sometimes you have to wait a little bit, but it’s so worth it!
Please see a real plastic surgeon or someone with extensive experience/research in dealing with Keloids. The method that she uses to remove the keloid is probably not the best especially if you are already prone to scarring or forming keloids. She shaved the keloid from my ear (which wasn't extremely large) after that she uses a laser that allegedly will prevent reformation then you are left with an unsightly wound that will probably take about 8-12 weeks to heal due to the vast amount of skin that was shaved and burnt off w... read more
First, I would like to be transparent and tell you that I am doctor. I went to see Dr. Waibel for laser to treat a minor lesion on my face and a cherry spot on my chest. I waited over two hours on my initial and subsequent treatment visit. I paid cash for this treatment, as it was cosmetic and was afraid as lesion was on my face. I had a discussion with Dr. Waibel as to how long the lesion on my face would take to heal after laser treatment and she stated about two weeks. Dr was too aggressive and wounded me. The wait time is offensive. I am a professional and having to take an entire day off to see a dermatologist because she cannot manage her time is crazy! It’s even worse when she wounded me with the laser and it was another 5 hour wait for her to see the wound and treat it. Save your time and money- she’s clearly not that good.
Extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable. Empathetic. Staff is very high quality. Highly recommend.
Horrible experience. You wait for two hours to go into a room and then about another two hours before you're seen by Dr. Waibel. She talks to you for two seconds and then tells her medical assistant to do everything. Her staff is rude and unprofessional.
