Don't let the youthful appearance fool you. Dr. Shah is a very knowledgeable and skilled doctor. He is the consummate professional with great personality and good bedside manner. He takes the time to explain what he is testing he is performing, ensuring you understand the diagnosis. He takes the time to answer any questions and explains treatment options.
He has terrible bedside manner. Does not take the time to explain procedures or after care. After my colonoscopy he didn't take the time to explain what he found or after care. When I asked questions I was told to make an appointment in a few weeks. I didn't know I was receiving prescriptions until the pharmacy called me and the pharmacist explained what the medicine was for.
Dr Shah is highly skilled, kind, and caring. His staff is efficient and well trained.
Great bedside manner, I would trust anything Dr.Shah advised to do. My condition was urgent and he fit me in his schedule in less than a 24 hour window. Makes sure the patient is comfortable on their decisions and explains what is going on in detail. Great Dr in general!
He is very attentive and takes the time to listen what you have to say, he is very good at explaining things and he even thanked me for taking my cancer risk seriously. He is a very compassionate doctor that takes his time with his patients.
Dr Shah is very compassionate. I got hospitalized before my cruise and he called the company on my behalf and filled out all the necessary forms. He understood how much this helped me out financially.
I was referred to Dr. Shah for a colonoscopy. The first visit he seemed to be a decent doctor but I was pretty upset at my third appointment when I was there to get test results and he did not see me until 1.5 hours after my appointment time. He also gave me info that my primary care and surgeon said was not true. Even after being 1.5 hours late he was in a rush to move on to the next patient.
After 4 days of water diarrhea Shah worked me in without an appointment. I had lost 6 pounds and wanted to know if I had a stomach virus or what - and if the 40 mg of omeprazol twice a day could be causing the diarrhea. He seemed agitated and told me to take the omeprazol as he instructed. - In his report he said I was not taking the omeprazol ??? where did that come from? He put me on a BRAT diet to stop the diarrhea and dismissed me. I am going back to my old GI doc for consultation.
