The sign advertising no appointment needed for an inspection got me in the door bc it seems most places require an appointment or you drop your car off. As soon as I drove up I was greeted by someone. My car was being inspected minutes later. When it came time for me to check out, I chatted with the guy at the register and mentioned my spare tire was on my car because my regular tire had popped. All went as well as expected
I was loyal to Pep Boys until I happened upon Jiffy Lube. I needed new rear rotors and brakes, badly. I called around hoping to make an appointment— and soon, and was told it’d be at least 2-3 days at other places. Jiffy Lube told me they’d order what I needed, and asked me when I could come. The next day, after school pickup, I was able to bring the car in, get it serviced, and was I out in 45 minutes. There was space where my kids could play or watch tv.
