Minimal invasive surgery avoid not only a large incision, but also significantly reduce physiologic inflammatory reaction, wound complication, bowel adhesion and obstruction. He was kind but he only told me about all the bad things that could happen with my gallbladder surgery. He did rush his visit with me. The the nurses came back in to tell me he wouldn’t be the one to preform the surgery, his son would. I will not be returning to have the surgery with him.
I had bilateral hernia surgery with Dr. Tang in August of 2020. I found Dr. Tang to be a friendly and pleasant fellow with a nice sense of humor. He listened to my concerns and explained thoroughly what the procedure that I was interested in involved, complete with diagrams. I was hospitalized in December of 2012 and most of 2013 for small bowel obstruction. A previous doctor had really botched me up, in fact by the time I got to Dr. Tang, I was in bad shape. Almost died. After multiple surgeries, I am fine. All because of Dr. Tang. I was hospitalized again, for the same thing, last Fall. After having some tests run, it was determined that I did not need additional surgery. I owe my life to Dr. Tang.
Do not see this doctor! I would give 0 stars if I could. I had a hernia surgery and it was a bad experience from start to finish. In the initial consultation he said almost nothing about what to expect. My thought about this, was that he was very cavalier with my health with no regard as to the fact that I was human. Due to complications that arose from practitioner error, I am having ongoing complications from what should have been a routine surgery. Also I am being treated as though I am the one who made the mistakes...while I was fast asleep during my procedure. It would have made me choose an alternate location had I known Dr Tang was just recently sued over another surgery that went awry. Protect yourselves and your loved ones, and seek help elsewhere.
