Meeting with Ji Young Seo was a wonderful experience... She was very thorough & reassuring & addressed all my concerns about continued pain & recovering from my Cervical surgery. This was new for me as I've had Lumbar Surgeries in the past This has affected my upper body and throat...but with time & Therapy she let me know I will get better... you just can't push it ! Ji called me "rude" after I asked if she'd taken anatomy classes. I sought this information b/c she didn't seem to know the odontoid process is non weight bearing & consequently cannot heal w/o immobilization (unless an incomplete fracture). I then explained to her that C1 & C2 are the human equivalent of a "bobble head". I have a 30 yr+ type II-B odontoid f/x. It was undiagnosed for 7 yrs after a motorcycle accident due to NW Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL failing to take flexion &/or extension x-rays to enable... read more
