I came to this appointment hoping for support and clarity with menopause symptoms — including hot flashes, fatigue, mood changes, and significant hair shedding. Instead, I was met with condescension and dismissiveness. The doctor didn’t even pull up my chart or go over my hormone labs — which were the entire reason for the visit. If she had, she would’ve seen that my estrogen was already in a healthy range. Instead, she prescribed me more estrogen without even discussing my actual levels.
