Jewish Family Services deserves 5 stars! When I recently called, I was treated with respect and kindness, and genuine warmth. I appreciate the services JFS offers to the community. In addition, more than 35 years ago, my husbands family worked with JFS when they first came to this country as immigrants. The excellent programs provided supported them in transitioning to a new country.
Ive had many recent encounters with Jewish Family Services in the past 6 months. This is a group I recommend avoiding. They are not sensitive to the needs of an individual living with great difficulties. If you want to be insulted, embarrassed, and rudely called back then this is your place. Otherwise do yourself a favor and look for another outlet, There are many wonderful social services in the towns we live in.
