This organization despite accepting my insurance and taking new patients told me I had to wait at least six months for an appointment because my insurance (that I pay for) is through Medicare...... Imagine telling an elderly disabled person reaching out for mental health help to tough it out for 6 months. Cruel and frankly, discriminatory behavior from an organization that prides itself on inclusivity

All three of my therapists left Jewish Family Services with out notice I actually have more issues now with my healing process This agency is not at all concerned with you getting proper treatment. Also their case managers are extremely unprofessional and talk down to you. When you come to Therapy you are very vulnerable and JFS only takes advantage of your vulnerability of course they will probably disregard my review because after all I was going to therapy so therefore I’m not considered credible. It is so sad they make people get on medication to get help with housing so if you don’t take the medication you don’t get no help with housing and it’s sad because people don’t even need medication then they give you the run around it’s sad I wonder how much they get paid for each person they put on medication
