I I am going through a hard time. I reached out to Jewish family services for support per referral called the access center three times and left messages. On my fourth attempt, I finally spoke to somebody who transferred me to a supervisor. I left a message for the supervisor who did not return my call. I called the access center for the fifth time asked to speak to a supervisor. I left a message for another supervisor. Finally, I drove to one of the counseling centers. Thank you for such compassionate service to our community. Jewish Family Service is very worthy of donations. They use all that they have to minister to others.

This organization despite accepting my insurance and taking new patients told me I had to wait at least six months for an appointment because my insurance (that I pay for) is through Medicare...... Imagine telling an elderly disabled person reaching out for mental health help to tough it out for 6 months. Cruel and frankly, discriminatory behavior from an organization that prides itself on inclusivity
