Took a coin I got from my father into these guys because they advertise they buy coins. They told me right away it was fake and wanted to drill a hole in it. Got offered $15 for it cause it was silver. Took it to another local business (Coastal Collectibles) and talked to Brian, who has dealt professionally with coins for years. My sheer disgust for Mr. and Mrs. David Patrick Kinard, the owners of Jeweler's Bench, is beyond any reasonable reproach. To call these two people moral derelicts, would actually feel like giving a compliment to one. About five weeks ago, September 7, 2012, I became a victim of a home burglary. All of my valuables, including my jewelry with an extreme sentimental value was stolen.
