I just got back from Jewel, very well-stocked very clean you can smell the disinfectant. Everybody was in a good mood and they had plenty of everything. Except toilet paper LOL but that’s to be expected I guess. I love my Jewel-Osco

Online shopping and home delivery. Great for a lot of people, especially seniors who can't always get to the store when they need something. Most especially now with the coronavirus keeping many people in quarantine.

Don’t get me wrong I really like my jewel with the exception of bagging. I’m so tired of asking the baggers to bag a certain way and they completely ignore me. They aren’t hard requests. Please put my bananas in a bag by themselves. Please put the butcher bones for the dogs by themselves. Today I asked for the later one. The cashier and bagger both repeated my request. I get home and guess what dog bones with my veggies. Heavy can crushing my tomatoes. Heavy items with my squash. What happened to common sense when bagging. I... read more

I'm so disappointed right now.I bought dinner for my husband and I at Jewel in Shorewood. Since they have been out of snow crab for weeks, I buckled and bought king crab (full price and pretty expensive splurge at 21.99 pp). I also bought grass fed steaks. I got home excited to have a nice night and great food. When we sat down to eat, we noticed an odor from the crab. We broke open the shell and the worst ammonia smell was coming from the meat. come to find out this happens with dirty tanks. We were disgusted and ended up e... read more

I really don't like a lot of the cashiers. They act like they're doing me a favor taking care of us. Sabrina, one of the cashiers was f++king around with our groceries at the checkout and almost dropped our eggs on the floor, behind the cashier that was checking us out, the last ttime we were thete. I would rather drive to the one at Caton Farm Road, which is 5 miles away, than shop at this one, which we have done.

Typically a great experience, except for when they bag my groceries. There is almost always something smashing my bread, and today they bagged my eggs with BODYWASH AND DISHSOAP; two pretty stout items. Found a broken egg when I got home and a mess in the bag. I’ve had that job; I think the store has needed a little more training on bagging groceries since they took away the self checkout, and therefore my option to bag my own groceries without feeling rude.
