I am a native Kansas Citian who went to highd school and college in Missouri, then graduated from Duke University School of Medicine with high honors. After a surgery residency at New York Hospital-Cornell ("NY Med"), now New-York-Presbyterian where Dr. Oz practices, I completed training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. I called Dr. Jetmore when I was having some issues and his office staff got me in immediately. He is helping me at the present time and I have been in to see him several times and since I live over two hours away, they always work me in. I have never had to wait. He takes his time with me. He calms me down and is very compassionate in helping people. The best. And to top it off, his office staff is wonderful. Great place to go if you are having problems.
He worked me in as busy as he was and took the time to listen to me and answered all my questions. So far he has really helped me. Can't say enough good things!
He specifically visits his patients when the family members aren’t in the room but makes notes in the medical records that the ‘ family isn’t present’ like they don’t care about their loved one. He doesn’t base that note on facts, just derogatory statements.
Thorough, compassionate, helpful. Highly recommend Dr Jettmore for going above and beyond to make sure my Dads issue was addressed. He personally called another physician he was referring us to... while we were there and discussed the issue then and there... and made sure we got an appt. Dr. Jettmore is a compliment to the medical profession!
My rectal area hurt like hell. It was getting worse. One of my co-workers recommended Dr. Allen Jetmore for me. It was a couple of hours drive, but it was worth it. Dr. Jetmore examined me and prescribed a special compound medication (ointment) which was made in Perry Compounding Pharmacy in the same city (Overland Park). I started applying this ointment to my rectal area, and literally in a couple of days the fissure in my anus started healing and the pain stopped. I felt a huge relief. I had an awful situation occur. The Emergency Room called in a specialist for what I needed. That's when I met Dr.Jetmore. He was friendly, honest, and didn't care prioritize payment, he put me first. His office understood that I had no insurance yet they still worked with me to get a discount on my bill and come up with a payment option that was truly affordable for us. I cannot say enough good things about this Doctor and his staff. This guy is the best in this field. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I can't say enough good about this doctor. I won't go into my medical details, but because of his expertise, he was able to prevent me from having to have a surgery---saving me time, money and pain! He is knowledgeable, professional and has a great bedside manner. His nurse was wonderful as well. I would also recommend him for your colonoscopy. My last one was at one of those colon clinics were you are herded in and out like cattle, very Disturbing! Next time, I'm going with with Dr. J!
