Our elderly cat was prescribed a food for urinary cristals, we were told that he would be on this prescription formular the rest of his life, auto deliveries were made and when the food didn't arrive with the rest of the order, I called to find out why, Customer service told us the veternarian had canceled the prescription. Our cat was on this formular for 5 years. We were not advised that the cat was supposed to be seen to get another prescription.
