I had an appointment at this pain clinic and my experience with the provider was very brief and concerning, the visit only lasted about 5 minutes. And I did not feel I was given any opportunity to discuss my pain, my symptoms.. or my history. After the appointment, I went into my chart to read my after visit summary & to my surprise everything written in there was not truthful. I saw Dr. Valletta 18 months ago for a back injection after 2 years of agony. She bought me 18 months of complete relief with no pain killers. I was there again today because my sciatica pain is starting to return. She was so sympathetic and caring. We came up with a care plan. I would would highly recommend Dr. Valletta. I was told to arrive for my first appointment a half an hour early to fill out paperwork, which I did. I filled out an extensive questionnaire, only to have the doctor take no interest in it and never even look at it. It sat on my lap for the entire appointment, and afterwards I had to find something to do with it so I didn’t walk off with their clipboard, because she wouldn’t even take the clipboard from me. Unhelpful, dry, uncaring, and unempathetic - exactly what you don’t want in pain medicine. Thankfully, I found another physician who helped me.
This has to be a joke. 3 different doctors refer me to pain management and you flat out told me no because of the body part it was involving. Horrible ethics. Absolutely should have her license revoked.
