I rarely write reviews like this… but after what I’ve been through with my back, I genuinely feel like people need to know about Dr. Jessica Shellock and her team at Texas Back Institute. For YEARS I dealt with chronic lower back pain from severe disc degeneration at L5-S1. The pain affected my workouts, my sleep, my focus, my energy, and honestly my quality of life. Well I was very disappointed to find that they wanted me to take shots once more. I have tried the shots for years and they have never worked. The worst problem I have is with the pinched nerve and no one wants to help with that problem. I still have not received the information for the shots, so I feel it was a wasted trip and money. How about an answer on this.
Dr.Shelock was very professional and put my mind at ease that no surgery was needed for my problems .
Dr Shellock is the best! She helped me advocate to my insurance company for a non-fusion procedure. She performed my Artificial Disc Replacement (ADR) eleven (11) years ago. I’ve had a great outcome and couldn’t be happier with the care Dr Shellock and TBI consistently provide.
