Hard to believe people are leaving negative reviews. I am 57 and have never had a doctor as thorough and knowledgeable as Dr. Tan. She has helped me so much and I’m grateful she is also the doctor of my parents. If you had an issue with her services personally all you needed to do was talk to her and she would come up with a solution that you both could agree upon. Every time I see Dr. tan I leave feeling satisfied and more aware of my health challenges.
Dr. Tan is a wonderful doctor! She was my primary physician for 6 years when I lived in Iowa. I continued to have her as my primary even when she moved from Coralville to Cedar Rapids. She was always extremely patient and understanding with me, which is particularly important because I suffer from health anxiety so I always had several questions and concerns. Very thorough and listens. I honestly feel lucky to have her as a primary provider.
She repeated the same questions so many times I felt like she was inferring I was lying. She had all my records. She didn’t need to ask a single question. She was abusing her power. There are fair better providers. Run!
She had all my medical records yet asked the same questions repeatedly - as if I were a liar. She even threaten me with ‘ I have all your medical information ‘ as she asked me again and again the same basic questions- at one point I told her no more - I would not answer it again Never in all my 60 + years been treated so shabby. I used to love having Dr. Tan as my doctor till she moved to Cedar Rapids. I feel my care went downhill since she changed locations. I am in the process of trying to find a new primary doctor but it's kinda hard with the covid-19 stuff going on and now since I haven't gotten a new doctor, and I need refills on my medication Dr. Tan and her horrible nurse are denying me my refills telling the pharmacy that im not a patient there anymore and will not let me get the medications that I need. Love, love LOVE her. I have a nursing back ground and feel she is so thorough, very up to date, listens carefully and yet very friendly and caring. Spent almost 1.5 hours with me on initial visit. So impressed!! She had also taken care of my elderly mother and was wonderful with her as well. Would highly recommend her to all.
This is my first experience with Dr. Tan and her office but I was very impressed. Very thorough exam, and friendly office.
