My 26-year-old son was seen in the ER because his throat was swollen & painful, in addition, he was having a difficult time breathing. Both Ms. Gorenc, NP and Dr. Eric Adar treated him like a drug addict looking for pills and sent him home to use liquid ibuprofen. The next day he saw a different (obviously more qualified) doctor. He was diagnosed with a Retropharyngeal Abscess, which left untreated can lead to death.
