I have been with Dr. D for 7 years and have noticed a substantial decline in service from her office. You can never get ahold of staff. After submitting a message in LiveWell app AND placing a call on a Sunday and Monday I was not contacted until Friday of the week when turn around time is 24-48 hours promptly. Staff thinks they know your body better than you do based off a paper rather what you tell them. Attitudes of front desk personnel are unwelcoming. Will not be returning after 7 years of service. I saw Dr. Dy-Johnson on Friday. My gyn dr. Changed her practice to another location. She recommended Dr Dy-Johnson. My new patient exam went well. She was gentle and kind. Her staff are excellent. I’m very grateful for Dr. Dy-Johnson!
I find Dr. Dy-Johnson to be very understanding, patient, and I enjoy having her as my current OBGYN. However, the building and office facilities are old (not in a historic way) and kind of gross. The parking lot is always full. The front desk ladies are slow and grumpy. The bathroom is not ADA accessible. Overall, I just don't feel comfortable in the space because it doesn't seem very cleanly, welcoming, or well-kept, which is the opposite of how you want to feel when your hoo-ha is out.
My review is on the office staff. I made a appointment apx a 3 weeks out. A week before my appointment I have a missed call from them but no voicemail. I figured it was a appointment reminder. Two days before my appointment I check the app and my appointment isn't showing up. I immediately called the office and left a message no one has called me back. They wasted my time. I now have to start the process over again.
Dr. Dy-Johnson delivered my baby, but she was not my Ob throughout my pregnancy (it was another doctor within this office). Due to my unpleasant experience and frustrations with my own Ob, I prayed for another doctor to be the one on ‘shift’ during my ER visit. I was lucky to have had Dr. Dy-Johnson on shift that night - she walked in to introduce herself and was pleasant.
