Messy, disorganized and unprofessional. By far the worst therapist I’ve ever encountered. From same day appointment cancellations, to deflecting to her “assistant” when we let her know she sent a confirmation for an appointment we had not scheduled. Lacks accountability and showed poor communication skills. Joined in on a patient-patient discussion, picked sides and started yelling at one of the patients. This happened twice. Definitely 5 stars for ME and my family. I came to be a client almost a year ago and some therapists just seem disingenuous TBH. Fortunately, that’s not what I found here. I was very much afraid when I was referred to Jessica Acker LPC. I didn't want to be there. I also knew I was unable to address the emotional fallout I was experiencing. What I was doing was volunteering or school no time to stop in between because I didn't want to face what I was emotionally unable to address on my own. Over time working with Jessica Acker LPC step by step has had a very positive effect in addressing the underlying truth that I had suppressed a memory as a means of survival.
