She’s says she listens but I doubt she does. I feel so much worse about myself than I did before I started seeing her. My endocrinologist that retired was wonderful and I started seeing Dr Brzana and I’m set back to way before I ever was.
Despite only seeing Dr. Brzana twice, I've come to appreciate how through and informative she is when working with patients (maximizing information in appointments, having clear care plans and ordering testing in advance). Dr. Brzana did extensive blood work during my initial appointment, and hhen the results didn't provide any concrete information to explain my fatigue, Dr. Brzana decided to move forward having me wear a CGM (glucose monitor) as the next step for diagnosing my symptoms. I’m a convivial person and not one for writing bad reviews but I’ve never been treated so rudely by a physician in my life. I asked a simple question about a medication she’d prescribed me and was told essentially to get my care elsewhere. Said they didn’t appreciate questions by email (mychart). I was stunned. I both wrote her back as well as complained to the Swedish patient ombudsman and never heard back from either. I would not recommend her practice.
I do not currently have a doctor and needed an endocrinologist. The assistant on the phone to make an appointment said I had to have a doctor referral, but I do not have a doctor to do so. She then said I just needed to have my current blood work to get an appointment, since I had already seen a Swedish endocrinologist years ago and had the diagnosis on MyChart. Once I got the bloodwork in to her, it still wasn't good enough to get an appointment. Apparently Dr. Brzana refuses to see you with everything the assistant said I ... read more
