We recently sold our home and bought a new one - both in Northfield. It was reassuring to have Jesse working in the background and attending to all the myriad details. He was prompt and efficient, and he would usually respond to our emails or phone calls in a few minutes (if not seconds!).

Jesse was helpful in assessing the market for a property that clearly needed a complete renovation. Based on that assessment, we established a listing price that would generate interest in the property. We had multiple offers at less than list price, but ultimately we accepted an offer that provided an amount that seemed appropriate. Jesse knew the "players" in this part of the market and was helpful in our review of the offers.

We just recently purchased a town home in Northfield, MN, and Jesse Steed was our realtor. We were working with another realtor who was wonderful, but she was up in the Twin Cities, and we just couldn't get into homes in our budget immediately to make an offer quickly enough. We met Jesse at an open house, and he followed up with us to let us know of properties that were coming available in Northfield, based on what he knew of what we were looking for. After meeting with various real estate agents, Jesse was by far the most informative and responsive. He quickly responded to my e-mail/text message questions about looking at homes as well as answering my plethora of questions about particular homes. If he didn't know the answers right away, he found them out within a day and would let me know. Never once did he seem annoyed with all of the questions I had. Jesse helped us find and purchase our home in 2012. He was very knowledgeable and organized. He was concerned about finding the right home for us and was not pushy. I would definitely recommend Jesse if you're looking to purchase or sell a home. You won't be disappointed!

Jesse did an excellent job of helping us find and purchase our new home a few years ago, and sell our rental home last year. He was organized, responsive and knowledgeable, respected our choices and requests, and was very helpful without being pushy. Overall both times we worked with Jesse were great experiences.

Jesse was satisfactory but not outstanding. He could have listened to us more and been more responsive to our requests. For example, he neglected to include a picture of our master bath in our listing, and did not update the slideshow to include it when asked. Despite listing lower than his recommendation, Jesse subsequently told us we needed to lower our price in short order (which we did on three occasions over the course of four months).
