Dr. Abbas is a fake, he acts nice when things are going well but when your situation gets difficult he drops you as a patient because he is too scared to deal with real issues. He is extremely judgemental which is funny because he is an addiction psychiatrist. I've been seeing him for a few months and continuously told him my illnesses were not getting better and he never suggested trying anything new. This practice has really gone downhill. Providers used to be reliable and staff was timely. In 2 months I have had 2 different (I asked to switch from the original one due to this) no show for virtual appointments. I had to stretch medication from October due to the first no show, and this evening was informed after the fact (now I have been out of medication for some time) via voicemail that the appointment was cancelled and would have to be rescheduled. Had a very bad experience with this place especially when I had many appointments with Dr. Abbas! I tried many of the treatments this place had to offer such as TMS, medicines nothing seemed to help with my mental health issues when I was having a hard time and opened up about my issues that things were just not working out Dr. Abbas said if I didn't go to group therapy he would not see me anymore this is very bad because I was on medicine at that time and it's not good to suddenly be forced to stop medicine because some cra... read more
I am leaving 1 star because the option to leave none is not available. I feel obligated to share my experience at this location. My reason for accessing care at this location was to get assistance with my grief over the loss of my father. Instead of getting support or reassurance I felt I was being mentally scrutinized and criticized around issues that were not relevant to the visit. Dr. Chris Whitehead seems to be a good doctor, but the office staff are very disorganized. 9/10 times your call will go to voicemail, and take several days to be returned. Prescription refills have taken 10+ days multiple times. Horrible experience as a patient, would not recommend.
