Please read the reviews before going to this place.. My sandwich was placed onto the counter top without paper underneath it.. When I said that's not the right thing to do.. The employee said it's company policy to wipe the counter tops down.. Huh!! Wipe it down with what?? So after wiping the counters down you're going place my food on top of cleaning agents.. Really!! Definitely will be making a phone call. Do companies realize that review is what pay their bills without customers they won't be in business 🤔
I don't know how this place has 4 stars. Workers are nice but clearly lack good management. Boxes of open products in the seating area. Bathrooms are disgusting. A bunch of left over food from making sandwiches just sitting on the cold counters and hot stove during a slow period. I seriously debated on sending a tip to the health inspector because how gross it was. Ended up not eating my meal.
Very disappointed with the staff behavior. I went inside to pick up the order, and there were two employees pointing at me, talking, and laughing. One of them said his name was Martin or Monty. When I asked what was so funny, he said they weren’t talking about me, but they were still hiding their faces and laughing, which made it very uncomfortable. It felt disrespectful and unprofessional. Employees should know how to properly greet and treat customers. This experience was really unpleasant and not what I expected.
Josh, Monty, Summer and Luke absolutely crushed it. They know what's good when it comes to sandwiches. Was visiting the Botanic Gardens and drove up from the South Side. Glad I stopped in at this location on the way back down. Amazing service and the Italian was executed perfectly. Highly recommend.
