Great to see a decent sub sandwich place open in Encinitas to give is an alternative to subway or other more expensive options. Food is fresh and lot's of service.
I absolutely love Jersey Mike's. I have been visiting their different CA locations for the past few years and I would take them over any sub shop.
We continue to love this place so much that we've actually started calling it Magic Mike's. :)
Ever since a co-worker introduced me to this place, I have been hooked! I was kind of sick of the usual fair of sandwiches at those other chain places, and was excited to try something new (yes, lunch is the exciting part of my work day). I was glad I did because I have my new favorite lunch place. Fresh bread you can smell when you walk in the door, fresh cut meats right in front of you, and piled high! The usual selection of greens, but Mikes ways is a definite recommendation, as well as their amazing Italian sandwich.
The best sandwiches around, get it Mikes Way. The only problem is a lack of seating, but they make up for it with outdoor tables.
I think Jersey Mike's does a good job. I like that they slice the meat in front of you, and I would say the ingredients are of a much higher quality than most of their chain competitors. I love the shredded lettuce. This is the 5th Jersey Mike's I've been to (3 in Santa Clarita + Solana Beach), and they are consistently good.
Great subs, outrageously friendly attitude.
Food is fresh and lot's of service.
