We just left Jerry and the mermaid’s after having an early dinner. We’ve been going out to Long Island all our lives and somehow missed this gem. It’s the best meal we’ve ever had on the North Fork. The people couldn’t have been nicer and the quality of the food is amazing. It was so delicious we will be back again and again.

My son and daughter in law are there for lunch on my birthday weekend. The food was excellent, everything from our appetizers to our meals and drinks. the staff was attentive to sitting us promptly and our waitress was so nice and made sure our food was served promptly and check back with us to make sure that everything was okay. I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there I would definitely return and recommend Jerry and the mermaids.
omg the food was amazing and Max was the best. came here 2 nights in a row and the food and service was perfect. He even remembered to bring our daughter a few slices of watermelon that she likes. fyi the linguini clam sauce with white wine and garlic is 5 stars!!!!!
We were in Riverhead for the weekend and ate here! great set ice and food was so good! FRESH shrimp cocktail and broiled seafood dish! My husband the steak lover LOVED his gorgonzola flank steak! The owner Jerry checked on customers and was so nice! We will return!
Arrived at Jerry and The Mermaid with a tour group from New Jersey. We were warmly greeted by Jerry, the owner. Food was delicious. Their sangria was refreshing. Definitely recommended

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. He has a seafood allergy and wanted me to enjoy a tasty seafood dinner. The place is packed, and I can understand why. We were unable to make a reservation for 2 but we were seated at a reasonable time. Jerry and the mermaids menu was great. I had the shrimp cocktail and the salmon with rice pilaf.
