My appointment was Part II of my annual physical. Dr. Shockey is always very friendly and is very informative about any issues I might have. I am very happy he is my doctor.

He's a down to earth guy and I felt like I could confide in him. My previous MDVIP doctor that I have for ten years retired, so I picked Dr. Shockey because he was close to my home and had the experience that I felt best fit my lifestyle. I believe in taking care of myself as much as possible and I think he encourages that.
Been with Dr. Shockey almost since he became a doc. I am very happy with him. He must be very patient because I'm a challenging patient. He has helped get me over some rough patches.
Dr. Gerald R Shockey is a very insensitive Doctor and does not listen to the patient. I went to this doctor after I had an accident with my dog ruining into the back of me knee. I told him it felt like she tore my meniscus. I knew what it felt like as I had torn meniscus happen on two other occasions. He simple said, ooh no that couldn't happen and continued to jerk my knee around and sent me home telling me it was sprained. Two weeks later I decided to do a migraine study for him. Just like to thank, Dr. Shockey ! Well Placed Medicine Is Good For The soul. It's been great to get a complete exam ! With all the understanding of every aspect of a office visit and blood work ! It was good to know my results toward wellness. Great job and thanks again !

He is always prepared to jump in and help and keep me healthy. He makes me feel more like family and makes me comfortable to discuss hard topics.
