Had a procedure done here and the volunteers, staff and nurses were all great. Very organized. They even gave me a warmed blanket while I waited.
I had surgery here and I cannot express how wonderful everyone is at this Wellness Centre. From Debbie the Volunteer, to Shannon the Nurse, to the clinical team, to all the medical team, the nurses, the anesthesiologist, and to Dr. Kotait. I felt so at ease and everyone was so kind and helped with my anxiousness. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Team here at Jerry Coughlan Health and Wellness Centre. Many clinics and urgent care too bad they charge for parking and there isn’t a gate for you to get a ticket. No machines outside saying pay for parking or parking enforced, went inside to the bathroom and as I’m going to go to urgent care I over heard some people saying sucks we have to pay for parking and then I asked the receptionist if that’s so and they said yeah. Further to my post. Hospitals rely on volunteers and this place has great ones. So helpful and they put you at ease.
I just had my first colonoscopy here and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. I was extremely nervous to the point where I felt like I was about to cry. I had never gone through this procedure before and my anxiety was through the roof. From the moment I arrived, the nurses and doctors were incredibly kind and reassuring. They spoke to me so gently and respectfully, almost like I was a friend or family member. That warmth made such a difference.
