The first time I had an appointment, he just had a bad face. I thought he was having a bad day. But the second time I had an appointment, he was very mean, disrespectful, didn't let me talk, was extremely rude and did not answer my questions. He had no empathy for my back pain. He left the room quickly after only a few minutes, leaving me alone, and unsure what the treatment plan would be. I left the office in tears. I would not recommend him to anybody.

Cannot understate what a fantastic surgeon Dr. Altman is. I tore my UCL ligament in my thumb and first went to Michigan Orthopedic Surgeons in Beverly Hills and Royal Oak. They have a wonderful staff, very kind, professional, and helpful when making the decision to have surgery or not. Once I met Dr. Altman, I knew immediately that I was in good hands.
