This was my 2nd appointment with Dr Obed, December 2024. I had 3 concerns to address with him. A spot on my face under my right eye. He said it was fine not to worry. The same with my other 2 concerns. I went to a new dermatologist last week. She did a biopsy of the spot on my face. I received a call today, it’s basil cell carcinoma. I will have surgery soon. Thank god I decided to get another opinion.
I wemt to him for someyhing else but he suspected basal cell carcinoma. So greatful for his observation. Highly recommend him
I was recommended to visit this doctor for thinning hair, although the doctor was pleasant and the location is welcoming and modern the support or response to my concerns fell short. My concern was dismissed. I called back to follow up on a recommendation for anything that could stop my hair falling out and I never received a call back. The staff was very efficient and the PA had everything ready. After 10-15 minutes of discussing the history and issue, Dr. Obed stated his game plan and got right to it. 4 visits later, Dr. Obed’s staff continues their professional behavior and there are not enough superlatives to explain how highly I feel about Dr. Obed….kind, caring, skilled…
Felt the apt was very rushed. Didn’t listen to my issues. Didn’t address my issues. Didn’t offer a diagnosis or help for my chronic issue. Asked me to take an allergy test that seemed unrelated. Said my condition (HS-like, unsure what it is) should improve if I lost weight, which is not adequate.
I have been seeing Dr Obed for a number of years but lately, it seems that he only has time to actually see you for a minute or two. The rest of your visit is by his interns or staff. My last visit was for surgery and I was the first appointment. He came in, numbed me, and said he will be back in 10 min. A half hour goes but and still no doc, I walked out as I had to go back to work. Turns out he wanted to get in a few other appointments before coming back. Not acceptable.
I've seen him multiple times for the same issue with no help or solutions offered. He gave me one prescription that made it worse and nothing since. His office doesn't return calls or emails and the prescription are never sent to the pharmacy. Waste of time and money.
Dr. Obed is a life saver. I went to so many dermatologist I spend so much money for my skin no dermatologist could of help me until I come across this office I was skeptical cause I’m tired of going to dermatologist my skin color just getting worse. Let me tell you Dr. Obed prescribed me this medication I only been using it for like 2 weeks within 4 days my skin was shining beautiful. Finally I’m able to show my skin I feel good and confident. In General it was not a very good experience - I was dealing with an allergy to wheat and it had been manifesting itself mostly on my skin - these Doctors weren't able to make any headway even after 5-6 visits and several trips to a lab as well as biopsy's yielded zero results for me and in no way helped me come to a resolution to my issue.
