I notice that the negative review here is for another doctor in Dr. Jerkins' office. Completely unfair, since Dr. Jerkins is absolutely terrific, and is highly-respected by his peers and the nurses who work with him in surgery (they told me!). I cannot express how grateful I am to him for his kind, caring, capable care of my terribly near-sighted eyes. He performed cataract surgery on my eye earlier this week. Faulty diagnosis – I had an appointment with Dr. Scott in May and he recommended that I have cataract surgery on my right eye as soon as possible. I have in the meantime sought two other opinions, one of whom is a Professor of Opthamology, and both physicians said I had the very early stages of a cataract and that I should NOT have surgery at this time, but should wait with check-ups every six months. Lenghtly waiting room time – I on the other hand waited 2 hours in the office waiting room, and the receptionist actually coded me as a no show. I do not plan to return.
Great office and doctor! – I visited Dr. Taylor's office for the first time yesterday and was amazed. Very little time in the waiting room, current magazines, very sweet and thorough nurses, and same goes for Dr. Taylor!
