My experience at Jericho Counselling was nothing short of supportive and uplifting. The staff were kind and respectful, the office welcoming, and Tunde was an empathetic and insightful therapist. I truly felt heard and cared for, and I would definitely recommend Jericho to anyone seeking counselling.
Jericho Counselling has been a big part of my support system since 2018. I have nothing but great things to say! Every office they have is cozy, accessible and easy to get to by transit. Thank you to Jericho Counselling for ongoing support after a health crisis and a car accident. I have been using the skills I learned in my sessions to help reduce my anxiety and insomnia. I usually do online sessions but have also been to the office, which is close to transit.
My partner and I had a few sessions of couples counselling with a female counsellor at Jericho. Our sessions felt very clinical, and I felt our counsellor lacked empathy. Not only were the sessions unhelpful, the counsellor was condescending. At one point when I briefly mentioned a past event, she leaned forward, shook her head, and said “and you bringing up the past, how does that help?” I was shocked by her response, and I said, “excuse me?”, and she repeated the exact same words.
