I was sent a good faith estimate for an annual wellness exam that is supposed to cover by insurance. I was told a physical might not be covered because I was a NP and you have to be an established patient to get a physical. I wouldn’t know till after I was seen if I owed the money or not! If that is the reason I was going to the appt why would it not be done on the same day! So you want me to pay for something in a separate visit that my ins already paid for from a prior visit?
Due to Dr. Everett's rude "disinterest" in my medical issues, I have not seen a Texas Health physician since. It would be in your best interest to see a Baylor Scott & White or another group physician instead.
I saw Dr Everett for a hospital visit. My blood pressure was high, I told him I was given a new medication while in the hospital. Asked if I had a blood pressure monitor at home. Never took a second reading before I left the office to see if it had changed in anyway. Didn’t address the fact that maybe the medication wasn’t working. Did not recommend a follow up appointment with him at any time. I was hospitalized for dehydration and UTI, never ordered a A urinalysis to see if my hospital stay corrected the issue. My experience seems much different than many reviewers. I have seen this doctor twice & both times he seemed disinterested & did not communicate with me that he was sending a cologaurd test to my home or that he wanted to follow up in 6 months. During my yearly he did check my thyroid gland, did not check my abdomen, did not do a urinalysis, or check my ears & eyes.
