What a great first-impression. Very knowledgeable and didn't make my visit so professional that I couldn't smile at least, knowing I now have cancer. That's a GREAT thing for me. Has a great sense of humor (as do I) and I feel very comfortable having had him recommended to me! Answered all my 24 questions and then some so I felt confident I knew what I needed to in order to make an very well informed decision on next steps.
I can't say enough in words how much I admire this man. He cares! He listens! He goes the 'extra mile' for me medically. I felt so relaxed when he performed my left carotid artery surgery (Awake!) and completely trust him for my right carotid to be done in a few months. I have had many surgeries on almost every part of my body. Never have I felt so confident and with my mind at ease, as I have been with Dr. Steinbaum. How wonderful it would be if every physician cared about their patients the way he does.

Dr. Steinbaum made me feel very comfortable, explained everything to me with no nonsense, was upfront and honest.
Dr. Steinbaum did surgery on me and after a couple of visits (because I had to get to a comfortable place) had complete confidence. I expressed my concerns and fears and he heard me and made me feel comfortable.

Dr Steinbaum did surgery on me he cut way too much colon leaving me with short bowl no lifestyle going to the bathroom 27/7 instead of helping me after with medication to slow it down he dumped me & my husband out of his practice! Tread slow before u go to use him !
Had surgery yesterday 10/22. And this man was the best. I'm very thankful I was referred to him. Everything went exactly as he said it would.
The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Explained what I needed for my visit and helped make sure I understood the process. Dr Steinbaum is a very personable person who is extremely smart and very detailed in his work and a very caring doctor who listens to his patients. Would highly recommend Dr Steinbaum to anybody as being a very skilled, knowledgeable, caring doctor.
