Referral was sent over a week a go. My insurance doesn't require it, this office does. I have called daily to make an appointment which I'm being told are months out, but they haven't processed it yet so I can't schedule. I have asked to speak with an office manager to get it resolved and am told they will call back. Hasn't happened yet. Still waiting on a scheduling to call me. My first vist in this office. Staff was wonderful! Front office, scheduling and medical assistance were all so welcoming! Dr. J. Nelson was so thorough and very kind. He shared information about diabetes and the steps needed to get back on track! His office is very far from where I live. I can't drive any longer and an uber/lift is very costly. Great experience. Great doctor. Very happy with the online appointments as well as the in person. Staff is also excellent. Even when there are technical issues, the experience is still great. Update Sept 04: Still extremely satisfied with Dr. Nelson and his office. I don't think it's coincidence that my health is measurebily improving. His guidance and advice are very helpful.
My first time walking into this supposed diabetes doctor my first impression of walking into this facility the receptionist I handed it my ID and my insurance card I said, excuse me, but I have to use the bathroom. She said let’s take care of your co-pay before you go to the bathroom. I advised her that I am diabetic and that I have to use the bathroom.
